Solar System - History the LK way

Pluto has a total of 3 moons orbiting it. Charon is relatively large at 1,206 km diameter, about half the diameter of Pluto, and was discovered in 1978 by Jim Christy. The other two, Nix and Hydra, were discovered in 2005 by a team using the Hubble Space Telescope. Nix and Hydra are estimated to be about 50 km in diameter. This being said new finds show up continually so keep your self up to date!
